The Redeemer school is located at the end of a long, rut filled, single lane
dirt road, in the middle of a large rice field, behind an abandoned sawmill.
The compound is composed of several buildings around a muddy, open area.
The structure where classes are held is an elevated platform close to eight
feet high, with a roof, three half-walls, and ladder access.

The ground
below the classroom is exposed earth, where chickens and pigs have the run,
currently forming small stagnant ponds in the rainy season. There is no
electricity or toilets available to the students.
